Our roaster’s pick comes from Ethiopia - from the Konga region of Yirgacheffe. Lifelong coffee farmer, Takele Mammo Denbi, has produced this naturally processed coffee on his own 8-hectare lot - in a move to highlight single-farmer lots within a region known for cooperatives of hundreds or thousands of small farm holders combining their coffees together at a single mill.
While those practices still hold merit in their ability to support small, single-family farms, Takele has learned from these practices and now holds enough land to produce enough coffee directly from his own lot. Enjoy this coffee on its own AND as one of the components of our Winter Blend!
